(no subject) [Dec. 9th, 2004|01:25 pm]

I'm posting this because it will affect our campus, our state, and our country. This is an article about the banning and removal of 'gay' literature from governmentally funded libraries and facilities. This would include theatre groups as well. Such things as "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof", "The Laramie Project", and even "The Vagina Monolgues" would be illegal to perform here.

So straight gay doesn't matter this is going to impact you. This is censorship this is a backdoor to banning anything the current regime doesn't approve of. Also this law will ban all material that goes against the Alabama sodomy law, which was declared unconstitutional over a year ago.

"Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not." [Sep. 23rd, 2004|01:22 pm]

[mood |cheerfulcheerful]
[music |Placebo "Twenty Years"]

I declare Self Confidence is beauty.  There is nothing more attractive than a person who is comfortable in their body and with themselves.

The most beautiful girl I went to high school with was not the anorexic cheerleader it was this girl who was more than alittle big. But she carried herself with a confidence that said "I am beautiful and you can kiss my ass." She was increadibly sweet as well as attractive. She didn't wear too much makeup she always had the best hair. She dressed for her body type didn't try to hide, didn't try to fit in anything three sizes too small and she just rocked.

No one wants to be around a person who is attractive and mopes about how they look, or just constantly needs assurance that they're attractive. It wears on your nerves something awful. Just no thanks. Also, alot of times its the confidence of the wearer that pulls off the outfit, how else could someone rock a velour granny outfit with a broach?

MM, MYV, and the 80s [Sep. 21st, 2004|06:31 pm]

[mood |gigglyloving all things beautiful]
[music |"Hikari to Kage no Roman" by Keiko Utoku]

Miyavi is beautiful. No matter what he wears or how he does his hair.

80s styles were beautiful also.

And we mustn't forget the lovely men of Malice Mizer.
